Well, after not being on Live Journal in forever, my best friend has inspired me to get back on here and catch up on everything Twilight, RPatz, KStew, etc. I don't know why I haven't been on here in forever. I guess Facebook has gotten the best of me lol!

Here's a daily dose of hotness.

The Genius of Jeff Buckley

Rachel
I've really gotten turned on by Jeff Buckley in the past few days. The man had such passion for the songs he wrote.

Sometimes I wonder what he could have done if he had lived another decade.

Would he have become a household name?

Would he and Orlando be the best of friends?

What songs would he have written?

That's the tradegy of it all.
When people die to young, we never know.

...As much as we would like to...

Hallelujah

Stairway to Heaven
Well I heard there was a secret chord
that David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do ya?
Well it goes like this :
The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah...

Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
And she tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah...

(Yeah but) Baby I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor, (You know)
I used to live alone before I knew ya
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
and love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah...

Well there was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show that to me do ya
But remember when I moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah

Hallelujah...

[Instrumental]

Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelu...
Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelu...
Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah

I believe we will be putting up the Christmas tree today. I love putting up the tree. I look forward to it every year. I put on a Christmas soundtrack, make some hot chocolate, and go to town.

Well I got my contacts today. They feel really weird. Its gonna take a while to get used to I guess. But I went to Target afterwards and bought yummy Starbucks and really cute (yet cheap) sunglasses, so that took my mind off of the discomfort. I want to wear them to school tomorrow, but I'm afraid that I won't be comfortable and that I won't be able to see the board very well. Maybe I'll wear them half the day, and then wear my glasses the rest of the time. I think I'm going to go take them out now though because I'm starting to get a headache. I just hope I'll be able to put them back in later.

So if I do plan on going to Winter Formal this year, which I haven't really decided yet, I really should start planning what I'm gonna wear now.

This is the dress I like:

It's Friday night, about 9:40 and nobody's around. Not even MySpace. Now, that's sad...but anyways. I won't cry about it.

Why is it, that when you're sick, it always gets worse before it gets better? I hate that!!! I sound like a man when a cough. *cough* *cough*

I hate how as we get older we loose contact with those closest to us. I guess its because we acquire more responsibilities as we get older. We get jobs. We have tons of homework, after school activities, volunteer work. All of this, just so we keep a good track record so that we can assure ourselves a spot in a decent college or university.

I was reading something the other day called "You know you're a 90's kid if..." I totally related to it. It made me feel so old. I almost cried. It made me miss everything I used to have, back in the simple times. The plastic Winnie the Pooh lunchboxes, The Magic School Bus, Lisa Frank school stuff, the Macarena.

*sigh* Those were the days. I love to reminisce about those days.

But at the end of the day, we have to accept the fact that we are getting older, and soon the friends we once had will go away, perhaps never to be heard from again. Our lives will only get harder, so I guess its best just to come to terms with it.

My head has a pulse!!.....or at least thats how I feel. I came home at about 11:40 because I just couldn't stand being around people anymore. Not that they would want me to be around them, spreading my germs. Why is it that as soon as everyone gets back to school, everyone decides to get sick. Its not fun AT ALL!!!

When I got home I took 2 Tylenol Sinus Decongestants, blew my nose, turned on my humidifier, and fell asleep. I slept till about 3:15. It was a good sleep considering that every 30 minutes I had to get up and blow my nose. Thats what happened last night. I didn't sleep AT ALL. I hope I feel better by tomorrow morning though, cuz I really don't wanna miss school. Its just so hard to make things up after you've been gone. I hate having double work.
Oh, and I just realized that I'm not the only one who doesn't like to blow their nose in public. In my first period class everyone was getting up to get tissues, but no one blew their nose. I think its just the thought that you'd sound gross to everyone that makes everyone not want to do it. So I went to the sauna of a bathroom to go do it. And of course as par ususual there were tons of girls doing their makeup. Not using the toilets, but using the mirrors.

Dang it!!! I just ran out of tissues. I wonder if the mom will go to the store and by some more. I definitely NEED tissue.

Well thats all of my rambling for now!! Please let me get better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
